The Northern Lights Village brand was born in 2016 and since then we opened three resorts in Finnish Lapland. Our guests are truly international and so is our team, speaking all together 17 languages

We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our company.

You will be required to maintain the assigned areas in a tidy manner, such as the cabins, main building, sauna, etc.


Cleaner responsibilities are:

  • Bringing out cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
  • Making sure that all the work areas assigned are clean and well kept
  • Report any damage to your supervisor
  • Ensuring that inventory is well stocked
  • Showing a high level of professionalism
  • Familiar with the health and safety practices
  • Support team to reach common goals

Cleaner requirements are:

  • Experience as a Housekeeper
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Friendly nature
  • Efficient and quick with work
  • High school diploma or certificate in housekeeping
  • To have an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Move, lift and carry objects weighing less than or equal to 10kg?
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by your supervisor
  • Standing or walking for extended periods of time

It would be beneficial for a Cleaner to:

  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Valid B drivers' license
  • Positive Attitude
Pay, duration and benefits

  • Minimum 60 working hours per 3 weeks period.
  • Starting between November and until the end of March.
  • Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
  • Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
  • If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €250,00/month
