Overview:

We are looking for an EMEA Area Sales Manager

to join our Avure Sales team


We are seeking a technical, strategic thinking,
Area Sales Manager with a consultative style of selling, ideally with in-depth understanding having worked in a capital equipment sales / machinery sales environment.

Your position will be to quickly develop and grow our EMENA markets selling HPP extending shelf life machinery. JBT is an international market leading global technology solution provider to high-value segments of the food processing industry. We have offices in more than 25+ countries all over the world.

Avure manufactures High Pressure Processing (HPP) machines that pasteurizes food through high pressure instead of heat and chemicals making food healthier and taste better.


In your role as
Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and closing sales opportunities for our Avure equipment, working with customers within the food manufacturing arena.

The goal to win new customers and develop existing business, establishing and maintain long term relationships.

Your hunger for winning new business coupled with ability to develop existing customer business will be achieved by truly understand your customers needs and providing them with the best equipment for the job Patience is a must; our customer are often making huge investments.

If you are au fiat with how to segment a market and can identify high priority customers based on market intelligent, this will assist you in reaching your target faster.

We would like you to be flexible enough to travel for extended periods of time, we estimate travel will be around 60% of the role.


Responsibilities:


A day in the life of our Technical Sales Manager.

  • To prospect for business opportunities in both existing and new customers, and grow the HPP business in EMENA, this will be via direct selling as well as managing some of the business through sales / distribution partners and agents
  • You will sell a combination of new equipment and identify potential spare parts, supply contracts and refurbishment and overhaul potential business, making sure our supporting Customer Care team is aware and following up on those opportunities.
  • We would like you to frequently visits our existing customers and potential leads managing your diary carefully to maximise on the geographical location you are visiting
  • You will organise product and/or themed seminars and directed presentation to existing and new customers, to educate and share with customers on the differentiated features and designs of JBT HPP products
  • Working together with customer purchasing, legal and their technical personnel you will ensure JBT equipment complies with tender specifications
  • We are proud to have developed our aftercare offering to include our OmniBlu services and packages. We would like you to also explore customer requirements to promote our OmniBlu services package
  • Then there comes the paperwork you will work in collaboration with our Application Department, and prepare and produce proposals based on values, tender documents and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
  • By working with customers, you will develop a winwin solution for problems such as technical, financial and logistics issues. You will also assist with problem solving for your customers by liaising with other JBT departments, including communicating with engineering, vendors, shipping and/or other field service representatives to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Effectively interact with JBT Senior Management you will identify opportunities for executive sales and ensure management team accompany you on these more complex customer calls
  • Produce continuous reporting on market activities opportunities and leads through SalesForce platform
  • Liaise with customers to ensure payments are made ontime

Qualifications:

We would like for you to have the following skills.

  • Degree in Business Management/Development would be preferred
  • Experience in winning business through working with customers to draft tender specifications based on product specifications
  • Experience in engaging customers both through direct selling and through managing agents to grow the business
  • Familiar with complex international contracts and tender documents, with a focus on legal aspects of the contract
  • The ability to demonstrate at interview a proven background in sustainable, profitable growth in the businesses you have worked for
  • Strategize, lead and execute the business plan for meeting annual targets
  • Fluent in English including written and spoken. Knowledge of Italian and Spanish will be a plus
