Process Engineering Team Leader with a passion for the efficiency of production processes?

We're looking for a skilled Team Leader to join International Team that will be involved on guide the optimizing production lines and equipment, creating quality products and processes.


You will therefore coordinate the production with day-by-day activities with participation in the Value Stream Boards, together with following the design of new production equipment, respecting the company's safety code, and optimizing ergonomics.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Coordinates project within the collaboration with internal / external stakeholders to growth qualities, products, and processes standards.
  • Manages and participates in the decisionmaking process regarding investments related to automation of production lines (e.g., Robotization, AMR, Automatic Storage Systems), supported by the study and possible implementation of AI tools conducive to continuous improvement.
  • Industrialization and Rump up of new products you will follow and guide all phases of the introduction of new products into production, from the preseries to the completion of the production rumpup and all the required PPAP documentation.
  • You will be involved as leader into the identification of best practices to ensure the improvement of the manufacturing area and, at the same time, will guide the successful implementation.
  • Analysis, control, and optimization of assembly costs you will guarantee the consistency of production processes with an impact on system costs, focusing your attention on the search for new opportunities to ensure cost saving and improvement of processing times.
  • Continuous improvement you will guide all improvement activities from a Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement perspective (VSM, 5S, Time Study, Kaizen, etc.) of production processes as well as in the resolution of problems relating to the quality area.

Background & Skills:


  • Educational Background in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent culture.
- +5 years of experienced in similar role, gained in Multinational middle size structure companies, operating in Automation Industry.

  • Strong knowledge about production process base on MTO and ATO, within characterized by management of small lots and a high production mix.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes, times and methods, Ocra analysis.
  • Good knowledge of the basis of Lean Manufacturing, TPS and TPM.
  • Good knowledge of Quality instruments such as 8DReport. PFMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP.
  • Good knowledge of ISO-TS / IATF 1694
  • Strong knowledge of English language (written and spoken)
