Create, modify and analyse the design of equipment, systems or installations, including specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction on assignments of medium to high complexity using established solutions.

Responsibilities:

Being part of a Design and Engineering Team for oil filled Power Transformers, in close cooperation with other functions inside the factory and also with colleagues of other factories all around the world.
Analysis of customer contractual documents, technical specifications in order to understand the customer needs and highlight any critical issue. Takes an active role in technical discussions during meetings with customers.
Demonstrates knowledge of physical principles and practices in the Power Transformer field in order to produce electromagnetic designs with the support of the Hitachi Energy developed tools and software. Creates Bill of Materials on the ERP software. Follows the engineering process giving support to other designers involved in the same project.
Reports any contract / quality / cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
Gives support during transformer manufacturing stage to solve issues and to assure top level quality.

Your background:

Bachelor in Electrical Engineering;-

At least 1-2 years of experience;-
Analytical mind with strong self-learning skills, team work & result oriented; Knowledge of SAP is a plus;-
Strong communication skills and constructive interpersonal skills, also across functional boundaries-
Good knowledge of Office suite.-
Good verbal and written English and Italian is a Must;-
Availability to travel for meetings with customers / trainings.
