About the job post

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the candidate will be sponsible of the whole Health, Safety & Environmental System in the Bomporto Plant. He shall be also RSPP for the company.

Main scope

Coordination of HSE activities for the plant, improve the Safety culture, deploy HSE strategy defined by Company needs and Regional Management, reduce number of accidents, improve waste, water consumption & C02 management

Activities:

• Regulatory Compliance incl. ensuring all Legal requirements (fire, pollution, accident….) & Safety at Work (Noise, risk of injuries…) according to country or European law
• Accident Analyses
• Management of Authority Relationships
• Manage health surveillance in coordination with the Occupational Health Physician
• Provide HSE training programs to the people to train specific skills and behaviours to reduce environmental risk and environmental impact
• Project Management incl. xkiyazw risk analyses and removing blocking points
• HSE KPI - Consolidation of HSE results for Italy
• Waste Management
• Participate in audits of the environmental and sustainability system and follow up on derivative actions.
• Defending / overcoming environmental inspections carried out by the Authorities
• Support plant for Audit Management (HSE, 5S, Environmental & Fire Audit)
• Support CAPEX management-environment projects helping the plant manager to define HSE budget
• Certification (ISO 14001, IS0 50001, A.U.A.)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, project management and organizational skills
• Experience in a multinational company is preferred
• Fluent Italian and English language
• Knowledge of Italian/European mandatory HSE legal rules
• At least 5/7 years of experience as HSE function and previous experienced as plant HSE manager
