Role Summary:

In your role as the Senior Design Engineer in our rapidly-expanding Valves business, you will be primarily responsible for the design and development of our bespoke Trunnion-mounted Ball Valves.

You will work as part of the local and global team to provide our customers with top quality, reliable and cost-effective flow control solutions that deliver on their needs.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
We are expanding our Valbart product line, in partnership with Flowserve Plants all around the globe, creating exciting working opportunities in a multicultural environment In this role, you'll be involved in the following tasks:
Manage design projects involving complex designs, including technical issues and specific requirementDevelop and implement engineering standards and work procedures, documentsDemonstrates ability to handle multiple product linesReview design analyses using calculations, FEAs, & other design verification methods and report the resultsLead cooperation with the Global Engineering technology center in IndiaProvide support to sales, tech services, service centers & customersWork with otherDesign Engineers to direct the investigation and resolution of shop floor problems relating to design or quality issuesIdentify and implement new/improved design standard and procedural documents What do you need for this job:
Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalentProven experience in design and development of API6D,API6A trunnion mounter ball valvesAble to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong proficiency in engineering & design software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)Solid understanding of different type of API6D/API6A valves and their optional configurationsAble to effectively self-manage; makes decisions around prioritiesCapable of working closely with internal and external customers and having good verbal and written communication skillsGood standard of written & spoken English; strong PC skills; Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or generic Lean Experience is an advantage Preferred Experience / Skills:

You are good building positive relationshipsYou have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skillsYou have keen attention to detailYou are flexible and able to cope with process changesYou have 5+ year of experience from the sector *stat.
