We are seeking a ROTATING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our iconic Four Seasons Hotel Milano in Italy. The individual will report to the Engineering Supervisor and will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing systems, equipment, and facilities in the hotel, including electrical and lighting systems, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, home automation, security and fire systems. The successful candidate must also be proficient in operating computerized Building Automation systems.

The role involves ensuring that all service requests are handled efficiently, courteously, and professionally to maintain the highest quality standards and provide the utmost safety and comfort to our guests and employees.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing and managing preventive maintenance of all equipment
• Diagnosing and managing equipment repairs
• Responding to guest requests regarding room or common area maintenance
• Promptly addressing maintenance emergencies
• Installing or relocating electrical and mechanical systems as necessary
• Assisting in energy-saving programs at the hotel

Additionally, expertise in performing minor carpentry and woodwork repairs is a plus, as well as proficiency in painting, flooring installation, ceiling work, and more.

Our ideal candidate for the ROTATING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN position must have:

• Demonstrated experience in facility and equipment maintenance, preferably in the hospitality sector
• Technical knowledge of general maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety, home automation, and other civil systems
• Carpentry and painting skills are advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, technical expertise, precision, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service and problem-solving
• Must have a valid work permit in Italy, fluency in Italian, and at least a basic level of English
