We ARE looking for a Submarine Fiber Optic (FO) Equipment Specialist for one of our clients in the oil and gas equipment and services industry, to join them on a permanent/staff basis.

The role focuses on expanding our clients presence in the submarine FO equipment market through technical expertise, sales support, and project leadership.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Business Development
:
Leverage industry connections to develop the FO equipment supply business, engaging directly with end customers to secure opportunities.
Technical Expertise
:
Apply in-depth knowledge of submarine FO cable installation processes to support project development and execution.
Engineering Design
:

Independently create layouts and concepts for FO installation equipment using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD; ANSYS proficiency is a plus).

Market Insight
:
Utilize knowledge of the equipment supply market to provide price benchmarking and support strategic decisions.
Technical Sales & Project Leadership
:
Initially act as a Technical Sales Specialist, supporting the sales team by developing concepts to win projects. Transition to leading project execution upon securing contracts.


Requirements/Your Profile:
Preferably holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in submarine FO cable installation processes.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor; ANSYS experience is a plus).
Familiarity with the equipment supply market. xkiyazw
Ability to work autonomously and drive business growth in a new market segment.
