We are offering you to join our team as an
Ocean Freight Forwarder.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work on the existing requests and further development of sea transportation services (import/export related to Italy);
Processing of requests, organization and control of the whole process of sea transportation;
Communication with the real Customer concerning the organization and management of international cargo transportation (FCL);
Communication with the shipping lines, clarification of transportation details;
Making quotes under all the requests and Order Releases when Ordered;
Creation of transport orders in Oracle Transport Management;
Participation in tender preparations if needed.

REQUEREMENTS:

5+ years of proven experience in logistics operations (FCL);
Profound knowledge of the Italian market;
Experience with the organization of "door to door" sea/multimodal transportation;
Experience with the direct communication with the Customer and the shipping lines;
High level of writing and speaking English;
Broadminded, out of the box thinking and ability to find nonstandard solutions.
