Job Description Summary:

We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.


In Rotating Components Production Supervisor Role you will work on Saturday, Sunday and one day a week, performing the operations of the Rotating Parts Disks Area assigned to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Solve problems and take decisions on production flow with impact on short
- and medium-term objectives

  • Provide direction and guidance to production employees, including work assignments, shifts organization, scheduling of overtime, and training
  • Review daily activities to achieve the production schedules, customer satisfaction, cost goals, on time delivery, maintaining, at the same time, the highest standards of quality and achieving the highest EHS levels in the assigned area, for all products under your responsibility
  • Ensure full compliance to EHS rules and requirements, according with duties and responsibilities provided by law
  • Maintain and further develop a Visual Workplace including support for a 5S program, active project boards, performance measure charts, and training program status boards
  • Support all company workplace policies including attendance and safety objectives
  • Work with HR to develop a performanceoriented work environment encompassing timely performance appraisals, reviews for new employees, and timely disciplinary action when warranted
  • Assist Cell Leader to make decisions in areas of process improvement and/or production to make appropriate resource decisions (manpower, fixtures, methods, scheduling) to facilitate the flow of units through the process
  • Support Lean/Material mgmt. teams on process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses

Required Qualifications

  • High School Technical Diploma
  • Knowledge and proven expertise matured in the Rotating Components business unit, in terms of products, tools, manufacturing requirements and production process flow
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
  • Fluent in Italian and basic English knowledge
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications and basic knowledge of systems for inspection and quality control
  • Previous experience as Supervisor
  • Previous experience as Team Leader
  • Working days: Saturday, Sunday and one day a week
  • Work visa in accordance with local regulation
