The Customer Relations Specialist reports to the Customer Relations Manager.

The purpose of this position is to ensure sales contract conditions are respected and prices are coherent with production structure costs in order to maintain marginality, in accordance with company standards and procedures.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Handles simple quotations (e.g., new packaging, new master, freight, samples, etc.), which don't require the purchase of Capex with the Key Account Executive's approval
  • Performs condition analyses and simulations in order to issue more complex quotations and optimize prices, which are then discussed by the Key Account Executive
  • Is in charge of updating price lists periodically in all their components (resins, masterbatch, pack & freight, Forex, etc.)
  • Uploads price lists and sales orders in SAP
  • Collects information on cost increase (raw materials, energy, human resources, etc.) to consider possible price reviews
  • Is a contact person for the Customer for ordinary activities
  • Supervises product and packaging changes and ensure consistency with sales conditions
  • Carries out periodical analysis on rebates vs sales, sold volumes vs planned ones, depreciations, coverage of investments, etc.
  • Elaborates, analyses, represents and/or monitors relevant KPIs to maximize sales margins: (sold volumes vs. planned ones, master use, material yield, packaging rotation, number of mould and color changes, safety stock, obsolescence, forex, endofline, nonconformity, inflation, etc.).
  • Collaborates with Key Account teams to draft commercial budgets and analyses the order history to guarantee accurate forecast
  • Keeps in contact with Plants to get feedback on production trends and make forecasts
  • Supervises changes to product and packaging to ensure consistency with sales terms
  • Takes part along with the Key Accountant in brainstorming with Clients to find cost saving opportunities

Technical Skills:


  • Good knowledge of the FMCG sector
  • Good knowledge of the supply chain process
  • Good knowledge of business economics
  • Good applied knowledge of an ERP system (preferably SAP)
  • Excellent knowledge of English

Education and Experience:


  • Associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Sales Office of a manufacturing company
