Job Description

As a Boiler Operator, you are responsible to operate or maintain stationary engines, boilers and other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings and / or industrial processes.

What you will be doing:

Attend to boilers and equipment to supply and maintain steam or heat for buildings, marine vessels or operation of pneumatic toolsRecord test results on specified form and provide information to SuperiorsTest sample quality by using testing devices to ensure it meets specificationsOperate, control and observe gauges to regulate heat and steam in order to ensure the machine is functionally properlyObtain samples from designated location on boiler and carry samples to testing laboratoryRecognize, detect or assess problems through monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events or the environmentPerform preventive maintenance and trouble shoot problems which can be resolvedSuggest and recommend ideas for the improvement of maintenance and performance of the equipmentOperate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environmentComply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Technical training certificateMinimum 02 years' experience in the field of steam boiler operationBoiler operator certificateStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamExperience in the field is a strong asset Additional Information Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.
