PTV Group is hiring for its development centre PTV SISTeMA, located in Rome city centre a Backend Developer for empowering our team of experts in evolving our software to become a fully scalable, cloud-ready, solution.

You will be asked to write efficient implementations of complex algorithms.

You will work in Agile teams.

You will be part of a professional multidisciplinary development team located in the center of Rome, Italy, and strictly cooperating with the German colleagues.

You will have access to learning and development resources including training programs, learning courses.

Role description and responsibilities

Work in a group of Java developers embracing the DevOps mindset Maintain and further develop the existing products Design and implement new cloud-based products Focus on data ingestion anddata manipulation Be comfortable in using several technologies from big data ones (like Spark) to databases (relational and not) Exploit message driven design architecture and streaming technologies Implement the full development cycle from coding up to testing, code review and documentation Cooperate in strong relationship with DevOps engineers for automating the CI|CD pipelines Skills & requirements
