As the
Italy General Manager, you are the inspiring leader that sets a clear and engaging vision. You are a culture builder who can successfully lead the Italian organization to the next phase. This will be executed in close alignment with the key stakeholders in our matrix organization like the Commercial entities and the Corporate domains.

This all results in sustainable and profitable growth of our Italian business, which is of the most healthy and profitable markets for DLL.

You will lead a diverse Leadership Team that includes functions such as Risk, Finance, Operations, Digital & IT, HR, Legal, Compliance and Regional Commercial groups.

Key Relationships

  • Reporting line to the Regional Leader.
  • Lead the Italian Leadership Team.
  • Indirectly lead the Italian team of over 250 members.
  • Rabobank stakeholders and Bank of Italy regulators.
  • Partner with DLL Group Heads in Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance, Business Unit leaders and other Regional Leaders.
  • DLL customers, including manufacturers (vendor) partners, dealers, distributors and key enduser relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive with the Italian Leadership Team the strategy and values for location and the actions required to maintain and create a bestinclass workplace environment for DLL members.
  • Ensure execution & delivery of DLL proposition to customers, realize the sales and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate for the development of midterm/longterm Corporate and Commercial plans with multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead Board Meetings for all Italian legal entities and act as the statutory responsible and is be diligent with all fiduciary responsibilities that the position requires within the regulatory entities.
  • Seek out opportunities for standardization across the business, while safeguarding industry specialization and segmentation as a key part of the DLL value proposition.
  • Take responsibility for the Digital Transformation and execution of the Global Digital Strategy locally offering a seamless experience for our customers and an efficient and smart platform for the Italian teams.
  • Promote close collaboration within organization with Group Risk and Group Compliance to ensure an appropriate, incontrol and compliant risk culture in all business dealings and customer interactions.
  • Risk Management: actively contribute to development of local risk policies within the corporate risk framework. Included are credit risk, operational risk management and enterprise risk. But also, Asset Risk and other nonfinancial risk components like ESG and CDD. And lastly development and execution within RAS and compliance with Policies & Regulations. Make sure collections and recovery process works efficiently.
  • Local compliance and control: ensure internal and external compliance and all regulatory aspects, and that all audit procedures are in place. Moreover, actively promote the embedding of a strong control structure based on the RCF framework.
  • Represent DLL as a fully participating member of xxxxxx.
  • Develop, implement and execute local HR programs that result in engagement and attrition of our members.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, economics or related field.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, multicultural organization.
  • 10+ years of broad managerial experience, with at least 5 years of General Management experience and international experience.
