Job Purpose:

We are currently recruiting for an AWS Public Sector Business Development Manager - Europe.

This person will be responsible for working with key stakeholders within AWS and Tech Data Europe and the Tech Data AWS Business Units in each country, to deliver on strategic on-boarding, training and sales activities that will be developed both locally and centrally to make sure all Tech Data countries achieve specific targets on partner recruitment and activation within the AWS Public Sector program.

This role will require accurate and consistent communication and tracking on the performance of key recruit, partner development targets & agreed KPI's back into Tech Data and AWS and contributing to enhancing and developing further the partner programs designed to deliver continued growth of Tech Data's AWS Public Sector business across Europe.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:


  • Act as 1st point of contact and "concierge" for any net new partner opportunities driven through central marketing campaigns or local Tech Data country reference and liaise with appropriate local country contacts to support onboarding and management of partner progression through the AWS Public Sector Partner programs
  • Interacts frequently with senior executives and management and often has to coordinate the work between departments or organizations such as:
  • Working closely with the Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence organizations in Tech Data on building new data insights, dashboards whilst developing new partner lead generation activity and digital on-boarding processes
  • Support the development and execution of recruitment marketing plans alongside the European Marketing team and deliver these campaigns into local countries for execution in the wider local tech data partner base
  • Support local AWS teams at Tech Data to deliver training to wider Tech Data sales teams to identify new Public Sector partner opportunities for AWS from existing Tech Data customer base.
  • Development of key channel relationships within vendor (AWS) in Europe and in country especially the AWS PDM and PAM community within the AWS Public Sector Organization
  • Key customer engagement to support local Tech Data AWS teams
  • Coordinate weekly update on partner AWS Partner progression across Europe and support local countries to make sure all training and deal opportunities for AWS Partner Upgrades are on track, especially within the AWS Distribution
  • Strategic input into vendor market propositions

  • Worked with, or experience selling, Public Cloud provider services
