We are looking for a Supervisor -
Datacentre Engineering:

What is the role about?


Working at cross-functional level, managing a team of engineers supporting the Country Operations, maximising service continuity and optimising the quality and reliability of site infrastructure services, while adhering to energy efficiency and budgetary constraints.


Your Principal Job Responsibilities Will Be

_ Supporting Service Continuity_

  • Responsible to support preventive Maintenance Operations activities, developing O&M documentation, reviewing Engineering Operations processes & procedures, preparing and reviewing the Maintenance Operation Protocol scripts
  • Support the Campus Team and the Compliance Team in preparing Audits internal and External
  • Responsible for control engineering management, supporting the develop of the monitoring systems such BMS/DCOS, DCIM working locally and at regional level.
  • Responsible of Physical Security Operations, supporting the develop of security systems, contributing on improving processes and procedures working locally and a Regional Level, supporting the day by day to fix issues
  • Responsible of Assets Management, helping the team in keeping updated the Assets Management Tool, plan the Preventive Maintenance properly follow the Equinix Standards.
  • Working with the Global Engineering Team, in optimizing procedures and guiding the Campus team in implementing improvements
  • Working with the Project Management and D&C team ensuring all the engineering aspects are covered in respective projects, being the central point for information and scope of works approval

_ Team Management_

  • Provides immediate supervision to semiskilled support team members. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team
  • Manages personnel performance and details including salaries, positioning, hiring, reviews, coaching and development.
  • Manages teams to work safely, effectively and with high regard to human error avoidance.

_ Safety and quality management_

  • Assisting with all physical securityrelated certification identified by the group
  • Implementing all legal health and safety requirements with a view to improving the safety of every employee and visitor to the site

Who are you?

  • Technical training (senior technician or engineer) in the following sectors: access control, controls management, electrical or mechanical engineering
- previous Experience in physical security systems, control system, assets management, critical environment operations
- previous experience in managing a technical team focused on Engineering support

  • Technical versatility
  • Ability to suggest proposals and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to communicate fluently with internal stakeholders, vendors
  • Detailoriented and ability to monitor activities
  • Able to speak fluent English
