LIFE FLOWS THROUGH OUR SOFTWAREPositionThe Life Sciences division of Dedalus is seeking a Cloud Engineer to plan, deploy, migrate and manage development, test and production pipelines and subscriptions.

This will include managing and monitoring virtual networks and cloud native services within cloud-based data-driven clinical research solutions.

Your roleManage product related development and production subscriptions and resource utilisationSupport, deploy and integrate virtual networksManage cloud native services like EKS, RDS, SQS, S3 and EFSManage and monitor access controlManage all cloud services supportPlan, deploy, migrate and monitor all development, test and production build pipelines systemsDefine and deploy backup policies, patching schedules and manage alerts.

RequirementsBachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology or equivalent experience.4+ years experience in software development including; Python, powershell, json, yaml and AWS CloudFormationProficiency in AWS is essential and Azure is desirableProficient with delivering infrastructure as code through automation scripts.

Proficient with most common operating systems & database technologies, Windows, Linux, PostGreSQL, MongoDBProficient in Docker, Kubernetes, EKS including deployment tooling like OpenShiftKnowledge of implementing public cloud policies, networking mechanics and integration with ITSM tooling.
