Role description
We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk and the spaces (offices, meeting rooms, guest house) into our building.
Main activities
- Welcome and greet guests/employees.
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Ensure proper room allocation in the guest house.
- Issue room keys or access codes and direct guests to their rooms.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of guest house occupancy.
- Retrieve mail, packages and documents.
- Menage the meeting rooms and support the meeting organization also during the meeting.
- Liaise with external workforce including housekeeping and maintenance.
- Complete and maintain any incident reports, daily activity reports or other reports requested by management.
- Manage conference room bookings and scheduling.
- Inform housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
- Maintain a neat and orderly front desk and reception area.
Desired qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent Italian and English
- Guest/customer relations experience, preferably in a hospitality environment (at least 3 years of experience).
- Customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Planning and organizing.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle stress and stay calm under pressure.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Decision making and judgment skills.
- Team work.
