The Segment

The Work and Rewards team consists of 3 practices: Rewards, Data and Intelligence (RDI), Executive Compensation & Board Advisory (ECBA) and Work, Rewards & Careers (WRC).

The WRC practice is dedicated to effectively design, deliver and execute employee reward strategies and programs that lead to a significant business
value for our clients. RDI helps companies build a competitive compensation plan by conducting annual global industry sector surveys. ECBA is focused on the way in which companies can achieve their strategic objectives through their executives.


The Role

As a Business Support Specialist, you will work beside some of the industry's top consultants while you develop cutting edge technical knowledge and skills.

You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results.

These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from more structured learning interventions that are
tailored to the business area you join.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • People
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on crossfunctional teams Client
  • Partner with consultants and clients to design strategies to attract, reward and retain talents
  • Help our clients ensure that their reward programmes are competitive by performing competitive benchmarking analyses:
  • Perform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and design
  • Perform industry research related to governance, climate and broader sustainability topics related to board advisory effectiveness improvement
  • Develop pay structures and incentive designs that help support companies' business strategie
  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
Financial

  • Meet chargeable hours targets
  • Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by supplying information for proposals
  • Excellence
  • Develop technical knowledge and skills in the area of Executive Compensation and Board Advisory
  • Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations

The Requirements

  • Bachelor ́s degree in any numerate/scientific discipline
  • Some experience of working within a reward or executive compensation analyst role
  • A leader; proactively takes initiative
  • A problem solver; able to identify and solve challenging problems
  • Analytical; able to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
  • Conceptual; ability to go beyond the details and see the big picture
