We are looking for a Process Specialist - Packaging - The position is based in Monaco.


Monitor BU packaging activity by ensuring project manager's milestones passed in time with all packaging means ready for a start of production.

Develop and design specific industrial packaging means from end to end.

Follow the development until physical validation on site.

Define and enforce the standards in the Skills centers / Technical centers and in the plants.


Main Missions
Advise and assist project and plant teams by proposing technical solutions for the following packaging means:

  • Customer returnable packagings (industrial logistic loops)
  • Customer expandable packagings (substitution packaging and spare part packaging)
  • Internal packagings (WIP and different internal transportation means)
Make Packaging pre-studies and concepts when Novares product design is freezed.

Organize study and prototype validation meetings with stakeholder, suppliers and customers.


Ensure production of deliverables documents:

  • Packaging specifications (internal)
- technical descriptions for quotations (external)

  • Studies and 3D files (external or internal)
  • Plant validations (internal)
  • Customer validations (external)
  • Work instructions (internal)


Raise communication alerts to project manager or upper level of management when planning deviation occur or when facing technical packaging difficulty.

Work closely together with logistic, purchasing and manufacturing teams.

Be the referent for technical teams (skills centers, technical centers and/or Manufacturing engineering, and /


or plants) by:

  • Training teams to respect the standards and onboard new members of manufacturing teams
  • On the premise of ensuring clients' expectations, raise up solutions aiming at reducing costs
  • Provide on each project a benchmark of best solutions and practices.
  • Participate in technoeconomic analysis of industrial means.

QHSE Responsibilities:
Ensures that solutions follow safety and environmental protection rules.


Specific Missions

  • Drive Innovation topics related to plant process continuous improvement
  • Participate to specific conferences, fairs and external activities to be able to benchmark your solutions compared to last technologies available.
  • Stay informed about last EU and international directives and legislation by using professional network and research publication in this field.
Profile

Bachelor degree with 2/3 years experience in this role

Solidworks or Catia or Inventor software knowledge are necessary

Professional English and other language will be appreciated

Excel:
basic functions, V Look-up and pivot table

Appreciated knowledges (can be learned in the position) : Industrial flows (upstream, internal, downstream)

Fundamental knowledge of metallurgy, Knowledge of plastics and their behavior, Pack-assistant software, Process FMEA, Manual handling:
movement and posture, Work in progress means. Quality, environment, accident prevention and safety rules and standards
