In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings, or sporting goods – we always look for the ideal material solution.

To do this, we work closely with our customers:
from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation.

What You Can Expect

As an EHS Officer, you will manage EHS activities for the Villanova d'Asti and Zingonia sites, ensuring compliance with BASF standards and national regulations.

Your responsibilities include:
Supporting EHS training and prevention programs.
Analyzing incidents and near misses and ensuring proper tracking.
Collaborating with site and plant management on EHS management systems.
Planning and delivering EHS-related training.
Acting as reference for Product Stewardship (including REACH and CLP).
Supporting SDS analysis and regulatory declarations.
Monitoring environmental performance and preparing reports.
Managing relations with environmental authorities.
Overseeing waste disposal processes and audits.
Preparing documentation for audits.

What You Offer

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Environment or a closely related technical discipline.
3 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial or chemical environments.
Knowledge of national EHS regulations and management systems.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work cross‑functionally.
Willingness to travel to Zingonia (Bergamo).
Proficiency in Italian and English; German is a plus.
