Description:

Main Tasks:

Ensure that employees within the production line are adequately informed, instructed, trained and supervised to safely carry out work for which they are engaged.
Ensure a safe working environment, striving for zero recordable injuries in compliance with internal policies and external legislation,
Manage the Production operations ensuring efficiency and the production schedule is achieved.
Team members to be deployed and supervised effectively.
Day to day problems are resolved
Team member attendance and performance is monitored and managed effectively.
Team members are sufficiently empowered to take appropriate responsibility.
The Supervisor should bring critical issues to the Operation Manager's attention and assist in providing solutions to those issues.
Also, responsible for escalating and resolving issues quickly and efficiently in the absence of the Operation Manager
Recommendations to plant, equipment and working practices are developed and effectively communicated to management.
Team members are encouraged to understand the business needs and decisionmaking taken.
Team members are appraised, with training and development needs identified.

Profile:

Previous supervisory experience,
Engineer background or equivalent experience,
English/Italian
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, coaching and negotiating skills.
Values strong team work.
A strong customer focus
Continuous improvement is a core value.
