About the Role
For our plant in Lucca (Porcari), we are looking for an Operations Leader.

You will have 3 direct reports ( Line Leaders) and related staff (totally about 70 people) and you will be responsible for the entire manufacturing setup (5M's perspective in production area), reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

The Lucca2 site, part of Essity PLD, employs about 150 people with a 6-line roll converting department (Toilet paper, kitchen paper and industrial rolls) and a product storage warehouse.

What You Will Do

A ct as a Role Model for Safety: responsible for the development of the organizational capability to get the expected results and provide utmost leadership, direction setting, and coaching. Safety First
You are the ultimate responsible for 5M's (Men, Machines, Materials, Methods, Measures), in SQCDM perspective (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale)
You deliver effective Continuous Improvement for both daily and longterm perspectives (through hiclass manufacturing methods like TPM, 5s, HMex tools & practices); this is to be also pursued through effective networking & collaboration within the Company
Responsible for the contribution to draft & deploy the Industrial plant, toward Business as well as Cultural ambitions
Transform Industrial Plan into yearly plans, leading through Envision, Energize, Enabling principles at every level of the organization; set NFKPI's goals, acting until full achievement
Ensure the department delivers required production in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale perspectives (all factors to be fulfilled with no compromises)
Accountable for People Performance Management process as well as responsible for consequence management within your department

Who You Are

You have a graduation in Engineering Disciplines; equivalent culture can be taken into account when proven by facts.
You have an appropriate background in plant operations with experience in people management
Background in tissue converting may be considered a plus (despite not considered a "must")
You have a strong passion for m anufacturing/operations/technology
You have a Continuous Improvement mindset, solving problems at root cause with no compromises
You manage people, with a strong orientation to Team Building
You have a genuine passion for cultivating talents: you are a Coach, a Leader that creates Leaders
You take care of your People at every level, supporting their needs to break barriers to results
You have strong communication skills together with negotiation capabilities, both in Italian and English
You develop outstanding profitable relationships with your colleagues/stakeholders at every organizational level
