The role

Head of Operational Services Corporate Risk & Broking - Italy

_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Oversees the administrative handling of insurance policies for CRB Italy.
  • Grants that activities are handled efficiently, accurately, and in a manner that is satisfactory for the customers.
  • Defines Kpis and constantly reviews workload and process efficiency, sustains innovation and aligns the level of service to client segmentation.
  • Promotes an environment that is oriented to continuous improvement and enforces the company strategy aligning the operations way of work.
  • Interacts with business stakeholders contributing to address business challenges defining operative solutions jointly with Head of Business Operations and project management functions.

_ Geographic Scope of Role_

  • The role will operate across the CRB Line of Business and is responsible to provide with his teams a limited and agreed list of services also to Health and Benefits.

_ Conduct Risk_

  • A good understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on operational processes and procedures.
  • Working with the Compliance, Risk, and other functional teams to ensure that operational processes and procedures put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way they do business.

_Core Leadership Responsibilities _

  • Support the overall operational services governance provided to CRB Lobs
  • Build and manage relationships both internally and externally
  • Work with internal and external sources to identify opportunities to share and exchange best practice
  • Maintain relevant experience and qualifications required for the role

Qualifications/Skills

  • Preferably educated to a degree level and with professional qualifications, Project Management or similar
  • Proven experience in managing a structure that provides operative services, in a regulated environment, with high pressure on timely delivery
  • Excellent management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering high levels of client service on different scopes through a complex organization
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good understanding of products and services
  • High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy, operating environment, and business objectives
  • An understanding of core business improvement principles and techniques
  • Strong skills in problem solving
  • An indepth knowledge of operational best practice and experience of implementing processes,
- procedures and standards in an operational role

  • Proven experience of change management and delivering major change initiatives in to an operational function
