Thermodynamics and Processes Consultant to join its office in
ROME **within the Materials, Technology & Innovation Division.

Mission:

Support the industrial activities of various clients (steelmaking, production of metal alloys for aerospace, production of energy, optimization of enabling materials) providing advices and technical solutions

Responsibilities:

Apply/Develop thermodynamic models for industrial processes.

Control/Optimize steel fabrication processes by plant data analysis using mathematical models and data from laboratory characterisation.

Use of thermodynamic tools such as Thermo-Calc.

Apply/Develop chemical and physical characterisation techniques of materials (metals and refractories);
Interact with colleagues and clients working in an interdisciplinary environment.

Produce technical reports and proposals under the supervision of more experienced consultants.

Consult on site according to the clients needs aimed at problem definition and related problem solving.

Work in contexts involving multi-partners international projects: participate to meetings and or conferences presenting the work done and related results.

Update and deepen the knowledge related to the aspects of interest for the job daily activities through the study of literature papers, books, conference proceedings

Education:

Master's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
