Product Engineering Specialist - PV Wheel End Europe
Our customers are all major global and local OEMs, new mobility players and racing teams.


Key responsibilities

  • Design and industrialize hub bearing units for all major players in the AM market
  • Develop products to satisfy customer requirements along the full product lifecycle, from RFQ to production and field implementation.
  • Drive and promote innovation for SKF wheel end solutions to strengthen SKF technical leadership
  • Identify best technical solutions for the customer requirements for developing the complete technical package.
  • Interact with customers' engineering teams within ETO and advanced development projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of tools & methodologies, design process and standard and practices.

Requirements:


  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Aerospace, Automotive, Materials)
  • Strong engineering knowledge (materials, CAE, design, testing)
  • Knowledge on 3D modeling systems (PTC Creo is a plus)
  • Experience with problem solving tools and knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA tools
  • Experience in Automotive area is a plus
  • Proficiency knowledge of Italian and English languages (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • Knowledge of design tools, design process and lifecycle management system
  • Experience with Design for Six Sigma is a plus
  • Availability for travelling
