In the context of KPMG Advisory, our _
_United Nations Desk__, based in Rome, is in charge of providing assessments on business strategies, process improvements, governance & compliance, IT roadmaps and ERP system implementation for the United Nations Agencies, Funds and Programmes worldwide.

_


You will drive the business analysis, provide recommendations, and propose solutions in order to improve and streamline the overall corporate governance of our clients, ensuring a robust and efficient approach to strategically managing digital transformations and risks involved.


This position requires a full command of English and good negotiation skills with senior counterparties in order to obtain buy-in for necessary changes.

Furthermore, working in a collaborative spirit with flexibility, achievement drive, ability to handle multiple tasks often to strict and tight deadlines while still exercising a great deal of precision will be crucial in order to be successful in this position.


You will be accountable for:

  • Analyze and optimize endtoend business processes within various contexts (procurement, finance, HR, etc) to identify and prioritize potential improvements and streamlining opportunities; design standardized business workflows, raci's, policies and SOPs with robust mechanisms to sustain these;
  • Contribute to the design of business operating models, organizational realignments and corporate governance
  • Contribute to the design of IT strategies and roadmaps.
  • Drive data improvement analysis of projects (data and process mining)
  • Act as a key business analyst by gaining a good level of technical and functional understanding of IT systems used by our clients and their evolution, in order to provide solution scenarios and support these in the design / deployment process.
  • Prepare extensive documentation: audit reports, business cases, SWOTs, strategy documents
  • Lead project and change management tasks
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained in a consulting environment (at international level desirable)
  • At least 3 years of experience on SAP FI module (additionally on FM and/or GM desirable): good knowledge in accounting IPSAS/IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of business requirements modelling techniques (conceptual data model, activity diagram, state diagram)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of various IT products desirable (for data mining, process mining etc)
  • Proven experience in project management or PMO
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to work in teams
  • Good presentation skills (ability to explain complex problems in simple terms)
  • Experience in IT transformation projects is a plus
  • Understanding of the United Nations System and European Union Organizations is a plus
