    About the Role

    CEVA Air & Ocean Italy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sales Support Specialist to join our Business Development team. This role focuses on the Pharma and Healthcare sectors, offering crucial support to sales activities through expert coordination and customer-oriented service within our Logistics unit specialising in air and ocean freight services. The successful candidate will be based in Milano/Pantigliate and will act as a vital link between our sales force, customers, and operations teams to ensure exceptional delivery of service and sustained business growth in the Italian market.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive sales support for Pharma & Healthcare customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of their specific logistics needs and compliance requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with sales representatives to prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts tailored to customer specifications and regulatory frameworks.
    • Manage customer enquiries efficiently, maintaining clear and timely communication across all stakeholders to foster strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with internal departments including operations, customs, and finance to facilitate smooth logistics processes and timely delivery of shipments via air and ocean freight.
    • Support the monitoring and analysis of sales data and market trends within the pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics sector to aid strategic planning and decision making.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of business development initiatives targeted at expanding our Pharma & Healthcare service offerings.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies, particularly those related to handling sensitive healthcare shipments.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports to provide visibility on sales support activities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in sales support, within freight forwarders environments, with exposure to pharmaceutical and healthcare industries advantageous.
    • Strong knowledge of logistics procedures for air and ocean freight, including customs regulations and documentation.
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order processing and documentation.
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise across multiple teams and with customers.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
    • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is desirable.
    • Fluent in English and Italian, both spoken and written, to support communication within the international and local context.
