ABOUT THE ROLE:
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

Manage planning and execution of corrective and preventive maintenance activities for GmP/non-GmP equipment /systems of Pisa site

Lead internal and external resources to guarantee the respect of manufacturing volumes execution in compliance with Quality procedures

Provide technical support for the engineering projects and new equipment documentation

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for planning and execution of the corrective preventive maintenance activities for GmP/nonGmP equipment/facility/systems of Pisa site
  • Responsible of the technical performance management of the equipment, in compliance with quality procedure
  • Responsible for performance management and professional development of direct reports.

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Drive planning and execution of the corrective preventive maintenance activities for GmP/nonGmP equipment/facility/systems of Pisa site
  • Ensure that all provided engineering and maintenance documentation is updated and compliant with technical, quality and safety requirements.
  • Manage the work orders (WO) execution, according to the proper due date and maintenance procedure
  • Execute corrective and emergency interventions with a systematic approach of problem solving and proper risk management
  • Ensure that all service contracts with key suppliers are in place and correctly aligned with company requirements.
  • Provide and ensure support for critical spare parts analysis and preventive maintenance plan of new installation equipment and systems, collaborating with plant engineering and reliability engineering
  • Provide support as Maintenance responsible for internal and external audits
  • Ensure adherence to GMP's and standard operative procedures
  • Support investigations and deviations linked to maintenance activities or technical issues occurred
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, EHS rules and authority regulations
  • Complete Level 2 investigations of failure and production issues
  • Able to analyze results from tests and understand results from these.

  • Lead maintenance teams towards technical and behavior excellence
  • Support and interact with crossfunctional team for problem solving and technical implementation / assessment

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Autonomy in decisionmaking during problem solving and planning maintenance activities
Interaction

  • Internal interaction required with Maintenance team for problem solving
  • Internal interaction for proper and on time escalation to the Site Engineering Head in case of critical situation
  • Internal interaction for cost controlling and support to Site Engineering Head for budget adherence
  • Support to QA, Production and Plant & Process Engineering Lead for investigations and technical assessment
  • Support to Compliance for internal and external audit
  • External interaction with equipment suppliers / constructors, in order to meet Company expectations in terms of quick corrective interventions and service contract
  • Supervision of external Companies activities executed according to art.26, Dlgs. 81/08

  • Knowledge in engineering, maintenance procedures and risk management
  • Proactivity in proposing technical solutions aligned with latest standard technologies, with continuous interaction with plant engineering for improvements proposal

WHAT YOU BRING TO TAKEDA:
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Engineering (preferred in industrial topics: Chemical, Mechanical)
  • Strong communication and leadership
  • Must be a team player prepared to lead direct reports and crossfunctional team
  • Project management skills and Project Management tool

Knowledge of IT skills:

  • Proficient ability of working tools Office Suite
  • Knolewdge of most used industrial ERP software (SAP and JDEdwards)
  • Basic knowledge of cloudbased data access and sharing software
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral)
