Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Payload Engineering Team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Be part of Engineering team working with Navigation Payload team;
  • To support the predevelopments activities related in the areas of Navigation Payload, Signal and Performance;
  • To support development and procurement phase of NAV Payload equipment;
  • Contribute to internal and R&D activities for the design, modelling, architectural tradeoff and performance assessment of advanced payloads;
  • Carried out analysis and simulation for payload performances;
  • Contribute to the development/usage of section related laboratory facilities and analysis/simulation tools;

Skills & Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience**:

  • PhD or Masters degree in Navigation, Telecommunications, Microwave or RF Electronics Engineering;
  • Propensity to participate in the team work and cooperate with other team members;
  • Knowledge of Telecommunication systems, Galileo and others GNSS Systems;
  • Very good knowledge of analog and digital signal processing;
  • Very good knowledge of software and simulation tools and programming (Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Python);
  • Promoting cooperation and teamworking, problem solving;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory;
