    RINA is currently looking for an Aerospace CAD Designer to join its team in Rome at the Materials & Technologies Division.
    Mission
    RINA is in search of an aerospace CAD designer to enhance the Industry team based in ROME (Italy).
    Key Accountabilities
    • Create and refine geometrical designs for aerospace components using CAD software in collaboration with the product project manager.
    • Define parametric CAD models for optimizing geometry updates during design and verification phases.
    • Perform 2D drawings of parts, setting production phases, work cycles, and integration interfacing.
    • Define construction tolerances and conduct critical impact analysis on integration.
    • Define dimensional control specifications of parts for manufacturing.
    • Conduct preliminary FEM structural analyses to identify critical areas during modeling.
    • Size seals, flanges, and bolts between parts.
    • Develop technical documents related to mechanical design activities performed.
    Education
    Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    Qualifications
    • Space / Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering Degree
    • 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing
    • Structural simulations
    • Design of seals, bolts and flanges
    • Familiarity with CATIA, MATLAB, ANSYS, Microsoft Office SWs
    • Knowledge of cryogenic liquid propulsion and its basic components
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
