The IT Strategy and Portfolio & Projects Team supporting the delivery of projects for various portfolios in IT and Business including the Information and Cyber Security portfolio, that has a strong pipeline of medium to large scale projects, is looking for a Business Analyst to work in their Security Portfolio and BA team.

Responsibilities Business Process - Support the business in understanding their as-is and to-be processes. Look for ways in which to optimise process.

Team Working & Stakeholder Engagement - Support the Security team to define stakeholder groups and develop good working relationships with these parties to understand their goals and objectives and their vision for change.

- Help to prioritise work within the Information and Cyber Security backlog. - Suggest changes to process and documentation which might better support the work of the team.

Project scoping & requirements - Maintain commonly accepted templates to enable consistent and thorough project scoping and business requirements definition.

- Support best practice in terms of documentation and modelling notation. - Document high standard documentation business / functional documentation. - Escalate any scoping and requirements risks to project management. - Own the UAT project phase and support business stakeholders in understanding the change and creating test scenarios.

- Raise risks, issues, and dependency within and across the Security and IT portfolio as appropriate Domain / Development Expertise (specific to individual project stream) - Work on business analysis activities for Security, liaising with IT, R&D, Sales, marketing, Finance, HR, Global Delivery Services, and GlobalCustomer Support customers as necessary.

Knowledge of Systems - A knowledge of Data Security DLP Tooling, Soc/Siem Tools, Network Security Tools, CASB Tools, Threat Intelligence Tools, Vulnerability Management and Scanning Tools, External Threat Reporting Tools etc.

will be an added advantage to the role - A knowledge of Security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000 Series, SOC2, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, GDPR, FISMA etc.

would be useful Continual Progression - Recommend improvements to working practices within the team, within and outside of the business analysis function.

Skills and qualification - Any BA qualification such as PMI-PBA, BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent is a plus - Good general Security and IT knowledge - Process mapping techniques and methodologies e.g.

, UML; BPMN - Process analysis and redesign - Technology business analysis - Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Policies and Procedures - Experience of the following is desirable but not essential:

Must have been involved in the delivery of Information and Cyber Security Projects such as Vulnerability Manager, Cloud Access Security Brooker, Data Security, Application Security Assessment, Threat Intelligence, SOC & SIEM, Identity Access Management, Network Security etc

Must have been involved in the delivery of Infrastructure implementation and/or transformation projects, potential examples include Security Patching, Vulnerability Remediations, DC and Network Migrations etc.
