You will join our eMobility Division, which is currently experiencing massive growth thanks to various recent major wins. eMobility designs and manufactures innovative energy converters primarily used in the automotive industry. We are looking for an Advance Quality Manager EMEA to join our team.

The position is based at our Montrottier Manufacturing Plant (less than an hour away from Lyon) or in our Manufacturing Plant in Poland (Tczew).

This position can be remote with regular travels to the Manufacturing Plants.


What you'll do:


Job summary:


The primary responsibility of this position is to provide Advanced Quality Assurance for Global eMobility, being accountable for quality performance during program launches and after product sales for Inverter/Converter product lines mainly.

To work with other key functions on lessons learned and leveraging the utilization of quality tools, processes and policies to prevent and protect Eaton and its customer form quality spills.

To oversight NPD, Industrialization and Quality teams in order to execute processes through disciplined APQP, PPAP, FMEAs and CPs activities, ensuring alignment to our business and customer requirements.


Job responsibilities:


  • Works crossfunctionally with Program Management, SCM, Quality, Product Engineering and Operations to ensure advanced quality planning, development, launch and ongoing performance meet defined targets of each program and overall business needs.
  • Directly supervise and manage activity of APQP to ensure robust adherence to defined APQP process and timely and successful completion of Customer PPAP submissions drive problem solving from early stages
  • Review and validate the ProLaunch Quality Work Packages with respective sites rooster team
  • Plan, develop and coordinate quality assurance programs for eMobility products (e.g. eZDP, inbound otbound firewall, safe launch, etc).
  • Lead Manufacturing Launch Readiness Assessment (SAT/FAT/MLRA) and follow up improvement/corrective actions for quality aspects. Coordinate sites Quality Functon in customer Lines/Process validation
  • Ensure quality management system compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements. Perform Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) togther with manufacturing sites functions.
  • Leading High Severity Customer Quality Escapes though coordination of sites teams in Iinterim corrective actions, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions and lesson learned. HSCQE Corporate ERG reporting aun updating
  • Oversight external customer complaints and leading sites quality team in CAPA development and on time closure. Participate in and present information/data as required at Customer initiated meetings.
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing problem solving for current part production, coordinating problem solving in current production should be focused on continuously reducing scrap, reducing customer complaints, increasing machine uptime and improving total product cycle time to reduce operating costs across the plant and increase Eaton's operational competitiveness based on internal and external operational excellence metrics.
  • Manage/supervise all Service related activities therein by meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers, both internally and externally, by supporting continuous improvement in APQP concepts, and by developing procedures and work instructions that support APQP and TS16949 requirements.
  • Lead standardization of product inspection and testing methods to ensure compliance with customer, industry and government standards.
  • Supports building functional excellence and organizational capability by incorporating global and regional process expertise.

Qualifications:


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality or Operations Management from a nationally accredited institution
  • 10 years manufacturing/operations experience in Mfg Engineering, Quality, Operation
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes for key critical processes: Electronics, Castings, Machining, Plastic molding, Stampings, Special processes (CQI related)
  • Working knowledge of APQP methodology required, including PPAP, FMEA, GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility), Process Validation, and Control Plans.
  • Fluent in English (German and French are a plus)"
