We are looking for someone with a strong background in Food and Beverage to join our team in one of our hotels.
Key Responsibilities:_
- Manages all activities, supervisors, and service assistants in the restaurant to maximise guest satisfaction and profitability and to achieve revenue goals and forecasts.
- Completes and monitors rosters for the department in accordance with staffing ratios and budgets.
- In conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager, monitors and manages all departmental costs and takes corrective action where required.
- Greets and seats guests, and ensures that they receive prompt, courteous and efficient service.
- Works proactively to minimise complaints from guests.
- Followsup with guests to determine satisfaction, measures these results and establishes strategies to improve the quality of the guest experience.
- Utilises leadership skills and motivation to maximise colleagues productivity and satisfaction.
- Maintains effective internal communications, including regular meetings and preservice briefings with all team members to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.
- Ensures training is carried out in the department as per the departmental calendar.
- Must have previous Food and Beverage Supervisory or Assistant Manager experience working in a similar environment.
(Minimum 1 year experience). - Focused on providing a consistently high standard of service and performance.
- Must be a team player with the ability to multi task.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
