Theobjective is to have 500 MW in operation by 2025.To support this rapid growth, Qair Italia is recruiting an Environmental Engineer/ Wind and Solar Developer to be operative at our office in Potenza, Italy.
Job description:
Performing preliminary development studies:
environmental reports (EIA, biodiversity assessments, other studies), environmental constraints analysis;Carry out studies on mitigation measures to reduce solar/wind projects impacts;Landscape and/or environmental analysis:
sites evaluation for greenfield renewable power plants by performing a preliminary environment, ecological and social risks screening analysis;Projects feasibility evaluation;Engaging with staff on design activities and technical reports and ensure preparation of the environmental documents needed for the authorization of new power plants
Skills and qualifications:
Masters degree in Engineering:
Environmental, Urban Planning;Good understanding of landscape plan;Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excell, Word), Autocad 2D/3D, AutocadMAP 3D, QGIS/ArcGis;Professional working experience in renewable infrastructure projects;Flexibility to travel;Native Italian language;Good English communication
