Senior Telecoms & Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Telecoms & Infrastructure Engineer to lead and manage telecom and IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and develop material specifications and standards for project documentation.
• Design and architect telecom systems, including voice, data, and video communication networks.
• Ensure that designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Oversight of the integration of telecom and IT systems with existing infrastructure.
• Evaluation of vendor proposals and management of relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Documentation and Reporting.
• Compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Addressing issues related to material shortages, delays, or non-compliance.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate structural designs with other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• BSc or higher in Petroleum Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in Oil & Gas engineering & design sectors.
• Experience with EPIC projects.
• Proficiency in English Language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar programs for data analysis, calculations, Network Design Software, and budgeting.
• Collaboration Tools.
• Organization skills: Time Management, Task management, Planning, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Communication, Problem-Solving.
• PMP or similar certification. Telecommunication Engineering certifications. Safety Certifications. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
