Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

  • Produces electronics components and electronic/mechanical systems by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Uses hand tools or machines to assemble electronics and mechanical parts.
  • Experience in PCB assembly and cabling.
  • Conducts tests and quality control checks.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

Required features and skills:

  • Experience with assembly equipment: soldering stations, reworking tools, cables assembly.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation like oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies and similar.
  • Experience with basic mechanics reworking tools
