We are looking for an Sustainability Accounting Analyst - Internship (M/F/d) for our branch in BolognaRole mission:
responsible for for the accounting GHG emissions for customers; support, development and monitoring of ESG accounting system; implementation of international carbon accounting standards, analysis of fuel suppliers and certification control, development of decarbonisation actions and tests within the scope of international projects.
The resource will work closely with staff functions, fleet team, sales team and solution team.Main responsibilities:
- Support the Innovation & Sustainability function in implementing, improving, and updating companywide environmental decarbonisation activities
- Update and improve the carbon accounting methodology according to international standards such as GLEC and ISO, including acquisition of new certifications and accreditations
- Monitor fuel suppliers in respect to compliance standards and collect the necessary documentation on sustainability standards and certifications (ISCC, RED II)
- Fuel life cycle analysis according to international standards
- Process GHG calculation requests and provide customers with a certificate og GHG emission according to company standards
- Support the sales team for emission accounting report to customers
- Support the development of a platform for collecting and monitoring of ESG KPIs
- Support the data collection for the annual sustainability report, with a primary focus on environmental aspects
- Work on research and innovation activities within international projects
Requirements:
- Required:_
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in scientific studies such as Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
- Familiarity with ESG topics
- Good English knowledge; German will be a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with particular expertise in Excel
- Interest in studying and exploring innovative topics
- Organisational and coordination skills
- Resultoriented approach and problemsolving skills
- Preferable:_
- Knowledge of emissions accounting methodologies (e.g. GLEC, ISOO)
- Knowledge of European Commission sustainable transport policy
- Knowledge of GIS tool (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS)
