Client Relations Assistant (CRA)

SCOPE
The Client Relations Assistant will assist Regional Sales Managers Europe with their daily activities. Create and build new customer relationships as well as augment existing relationships.

This person will be a significant contributor to the company's continued growth through the successful identification, pursuit, closing, and on-going support of business in a geographic area or market.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying new clients all over Europe through cold calls, market research, trade shows and inhouse database
  • Coordinate with the sales team to identify, recommend and schedule inperson customer visits.
  • Cold call as appropriate within a market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers in their role including, but not limited to:
  • Identify, research and qualify new leads
  • Maintain contact database
  • Track sales for the department
  • Attend and support some trade shows including managing the trade show leads
  • Quotation preparation and follow up
  • Manage contact databases
  • Manage focus accounts. Develop a greater understanding of the nature of our clients in order to identify opportunities to expand the sale of product and services while increasing profitability.
  • Communicate with clients regarding services, the customer experience, potential problems, etc.
  • Monitor client behavior, identify trends in order volume and value
  • Build deeper connections between customers and Winters to increase customer loyalty.

Qualifications:


  • Engineering degree or Diploma
  • Two to three years' experience in similar role in technical, instrumentation or manufacturing organization
  • Proven prospecting / coldcalling experience.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English (German and French will be considered a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skill, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Goal oriented, persuasive, able to persevere and remain positive and calm when faced with challenges.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Background in Gauges and Instrumentation an asset

REPORTING

  • Weekly activity report / Monthly management report
  • Ongoing direct communication with RSMs, Corporate Business Development and other sales resources as appropriate
