As a Procurement Planner, you will be responsible of the ensure availability of the components, controlling and maintaining inventory within the established targets defined within EMEA, maintaining the system for efficient process.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for determine the need for raw materials, packages, intermediates or purchased finished goods to address forecasted demand, issuing purchase orders in line with short term production volume requirements and mediumlong term forecast.
Check ERP messages and effectively analyze if inventories need to be maintained, raised, or lowered, deciding which products require purchase orders (issue), release against Blanket Purchase Agreements or must be adjusted according to demand evolution (reschedule, cancel, modify qty).
Balance arrival of materials towards receiving dept to ensure levelled arrivals throughout the days of the week, whilst meeting inventory targets. Actively assess modifications induced by production planning counterparts and (re)schedule orders on a weekly basis to grant material arrival in time for production activities.
Daily verification of delivery adherence vs order acknowledgement, proactively identifying and prioritizing late/delayed orders in direct interaction with production planners, purchasing and supplier. Adequately manage orders to reflect correct status and ensure supplier OTIF (on time in full) is reliable; provide regular feedback to Purchasing dept regarding supplier performance.
Provide monthly forecasts to suppliers for managed items managed.
Ensure timely and accurate information is supplied to Production Planner or Customer Service regarding late items or those expected to become so.
Interact with Production Planners in case of raw material shortages or significant changes to the plan.
Maintain Master Data within the ERP system for the items within owned planning classes on monthly basis or as required in case of variation in the key elements.
Issue Claims in CAIR system to suppliers for late deliveries impacting service to plant, or recurring non respect of the contractual engagements, lead time respect and other potential service nonconformities.

Qualifications:

University Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or equivalent*** 2+ Years of experience within a Supply Chain dept

Previous experience preferred

Supply Chain or Logistics in Process Industries.
Proven work experience in the field and knowledge of supply chain fundamentals as well as understand scheduling techniques and materials management fundamentals.

Awareness of the needs of others, have perspective into other points of view.
