Descrizione Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated NOISE&VIBRATION TEST ENGINEER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in NAPLES . Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.

Accountabilities Noise&Vibration tests to determine compliance to domestic and international regulatory standards.

Noise&Vibration measurements at the site and on the external site Analyze results and perform diagnosis of problems and recommend solutions.

Participate in global team meetings to ensure consistency and technical issues are identified and resolved. Requirement analysis Development of test documentation Development of calculation and simulation models of EM fields in railway vehicles Development of railway research activities Required Skills/Knowledge

Ability to perform Noise&Vibration test Previous experience in Noise&Vibration Testing Good knowledge about Noise&Vibration issues Good knowledge of Noise&Vibration calculations techniques Good knowledge of signal processing techniques Knowledge of sw and methods for Noise&Vibration calculation Good knowledge of laboratory equipment Good knowledge of laboratory quality standards Good knowledge of measurement techniques/methods and data management Good knowledge of the Office environment Fundamentals of electronic circuits Ability to read, understand and interpret the test results Ability to develop sw routines for data processing Ability to read, understand and interpret drawing, schematics and cable plans Basic working knowledge of Railway sector Basic understanding of software configuration managements Must be 'team oriented' with excellent communication skills.

Manage and lead assigned resources and suppliers in order to perform the tests and troubleshooting activities Validation and Verification Processes Education/Qualifications
Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.
Languages Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
