Animal Health team as an Account Manager.

The Animal Health division will enable a focus on the livestock biosecurity and dairy farm markets, to serve emerging needs, protect the health of the animals, and provide dairy farmers with a complete offering to keep their animals healthy.

As strong business partners, Ecolab works with customers to develop sanitation plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, troubleshoot technical issues and identify and implement operational efficiencies.

What You Will Do:


  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
  • Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services.
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training.
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders.
  • Implement agreed upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Corporate Account Manager (CAM's) of results, challenges and initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
  • Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

Position Details:


  • Route territory will include: Basilicata, Campania and Puglia (in provincia di Bari)

  • Training involving a combination of classroom and on the job with periodic assessments.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Veterinary Medicine or related field.
- experience with swine, cattle, horticulture and poultry

  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be oncall during offwork hours and weekends when needed.
  • Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Ability to sell valueadded products to customers.
  • Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multinational customers
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
