Job Description Summary:

The G1 line leader will be responsible for all the disassembly activities of engine from the induction to the complete disassembly according to SoW.

Aero Alliance Service Center is a provider of LM2500-LM6000 (Aero derivative gas turbines) overhaul services.

Gate 1 line leader will report to the Avenza Aero Alliance LM Service Shop Workshop leader.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Planning and coordination of Gate1 activities to the complete disassembly of GG according to the SoW respecting all the technical G0 requirement/disposition, EHS/Quality requirements and the G1 TAT/OTD. Managing daily (shift by shift) scheduling balancing the workstation workload, operators workload, skills and fixtures availability. Attending production weekly review updating the progress of the work raising issue or delay risks to the target.
  • Be responsible for EHS and the Quality matters for the line, promoting and leading continuous improvement
  • About health and Safety be responsible for requirement of safety decreet 81/08. (i.e. managing Work Force, take care working tools and methods)
  • Balancing the activities on workstation to respect G1 goals, workstations workload, use of resources (tools and operators), hours development for the shop, working closely to foreman, operators, UTOF, G0, G2 and G3 line leader
  • Highlights criticalities during the production and identify opportunities to continuously improve engines delivery dates
  • Analyze workload, highlight overloads/bottlenecks for the plan and define recovery actions if needed to reach OTD/TAT targets;
  • Support Lean/AWO continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses;

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience
  • Previous experiences in similar roles
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient skills in PC, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access
  • Oracle or other ERP system experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Be a Solutionoriented problem solver
