We have one open position of Oracle Database Administrator with one of our client based at Milan, Italy. This is a B2B/Freelance/Permanent position. Below is the job description for your reference

Role: Oracle Database Administrator

Mode: B2B/Freelance/Permanent

Location: Milan, Italy(Willing to work from client office 4 days per month)

Job Description

• Ideal candidate should have expert level knowledge of Oracle technology and he should be capable enough to handle complex issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLAs also ensure customer delight and always adhere to policies and procedures
• Candidate having creative thinking and willing to bring innovations and passionate about working on challenging initiatives will be given preference

Principal responsibilities:

• The job holder is responsible for production support to Oracle databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes
• Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues
• Lead Database team in crisis calls participate in MIR and PIR calls also mentor team members
• Experience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability Replication setups
• Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery
• Identify automation and Self Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes

Required Skill

• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC Dataguard Golden Gate
• Expertise in 12c 19c versions OEM
• Build and Deploy Implement Solutions Perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning
• Troubleshooting Performance Issues and providing solutions
• Expertise in designing Backup Recovery strategies
• Expertise in Role swap Failover planning and implementation
• Strong technical knowledge of database space management
• Implementing releases service requests
• Expertise of Golden Gate Replication

Additional Skill

• Knowledge on Oracle Cloud
• Knowledge on UNIX based OS
• Knowledge of MongoDB Db2 LUW technology
• knowledge of automation tool like Ansible Puppet Tanium
• Knowledge about Agile practices and DevOps tools
