We are looking for a Cloud Engineer and Kubernetes Administrator with skills and experience to manage complex Cloud solutions and to set up, configure, monitor and maintain a Kubernetes cluster.

How youll live your ambition:

Were looking for a talented professional as Cloud Engineer and Kubernetes Administrator to join our team and work on various projects at the Companys Headquarter in Genoa Italy.

Your support will be critical in Global Maritime Information Systems' mission to develop and smooth operation of the technological capabilities in all marine areas for the Carnival Corporations brands, with the goal of collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions

Demonstrate your passion:

• You will help set up, configure, monitor and maintain Kubernetes clusters in Azure and On-premises.
• You will modify and improve existing systems.
• You will have the opportunity to train teams on the implementation of new Cloud technologies and initiatives.
• You will contribute to identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• You will develop and maintain appropriate communication channels/tools with the Carnival Corporation community and fluent working relationships

How? You'll be involved in working groups and business initiatives requiring Cloud technologies

Interact with different Corporate Teams, seeks automation, troubleshooting, and mentoring team members

Develop and maintain Cloud solutions in accordance with best practices

What makes you unique:

• You have a relevant undergraduate degree and years of experience in Cloud computing or other IT fields
• Your journey includes previous experiences with Kubernetes cluster networking
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Engineer and/or Kubernetes Administrator
• Experience with on-premises edge Kubernetes solutions such as SUSE K3S deployed as cluster or single-node solution and Azure, AWS and GCP certifications preferred
• Ability to design, deploy and manage Kubernetes applications on small-footprint devices and across different environments.
• Proven records of successful experiences mastering Infrastructure As Code techniques
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills combined with excellent troubleshooting skills make you unique
• As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English
• Excellence in teamwork comes naturally, inspiring others to give their best
