3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets.

This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role


3M Human Resources is implementing an HR Solutions and Country HR Team to drive the highest impact programs and prioritized projects for BGs, functions, and HR.

This organization will be responsible for developing and implementing business-focused solutions through iterative and collaborative approaches, partnering directly with clients and stakeholders to achieve desired and sustainable outcomes and for ensuring compliance with the local labor laws.


As an HR Solutions/Country HR Manager (*) for Italy and Spain, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.


Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Driving local execution of people priorities for BGs/Functions while addressing critical local issues_
  • Providing coaching to region/country people leaders and employees_
  • Leading and/or participating in the delivery of complex and global change projects_
  • Partnering with leaders to execute restructuring plans in alignment with business priorities, portfolio decisions, operating model changes, etc._
  • Providing expertise on strategic workforce planning, including identifying current and anticipated capabilities and aligning the appropriate strategies to_
  • Leveraging strong project management capability by leading diverse HR projects across multiple disciplines_
  • (Re)designing HR processes to align to the new operating model and HR structure_
  • Creating and implementing employee engagement initiatives to meet specific or nuanced needs within a business or function_
  • Leading 3M's interactions with unions where applicable and with support from Country Leaders_
  • Granting full compliance with the country labor law requirements_
  • Ensuring the proper execution of the local administrative processes_
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Profund Human Resources experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience working on complex projects with change management implications
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve desired objectives
  • Experience working with Agile methodology
  • Experience with strategic workforce planning
  • Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of change management, including identifying change impacts, creating and implementing mitigation strategies, and measuring change process/success
  • Experience designing/redesigning global HR processes for efficiency
  • Diverse experience across multiple HR disciplines preferred
  • Global HR experience preferred
  • Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish/capable to conduct daily business using official labor law documents/laws in those languages

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require regular presence at the site).

Travel:
May include up to 15% domestic/international
