THE MISSION
We are looking for a

Legal Counsel Intern. The resource will join the Legal Department at the beginning of June 2023, providing support to the Team regarding the legal aspects of the business and the internal processes of the company and the group.

This 6-month internship is based in Milan.


You will:


  • Support the Legal Team in relation to the legal affairs of the company and the group (including foreign subsidiaries) including aspects of labour law, regulatory law, corporate law, contracts law, Italian consumer code, privacy and data protection and intellectual property;
  • Participate in the definition of the common legal approach regarding commercial contracts with clients and the provision of legal services to the Group, in order to improve the efficiency of processes and mitigate legal risks;
  • Research on corporate best practices and new laws and regulations;
  • Legal research and support to the team on case law and doctrine issues;
  • Support in the implementation of internal team initiatives and projects.

You'll be great for this role if:

  • You hold a law degree;
  • You have a previous experience in structured law firms and/or fintech companies or regulated entities (e.g. bank, payment institute or IMEL) as part of a curricular traineeship. It would be appreciated especially if in the labour or regulatory field;
  • You have advanced knowledge (written and spoken) of English;
  • Knowledge of French, Spanish or German is considered a plus.
