Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Operations Planning & Distribution Model Expert who will report to the Operations Planning Manager, as part of our dynamic team in Trecate (Novara)._
Your opportunity_

The Operations Planning & DMM Expert is the main referee for the Distribution Model Map (DMM).

DMM is one of the key pillars of the Target Operating Model of Kering Supply Chain and Logistics.

The Operations Planning and DMM Expert will maintain a new distribution network modelling system that will offer our Brands':
(1) a panel of differentiated service levels to connect our Distribution Centers with the final destinations, (2) a promised delivery date at the destination, that the performance measurement will be committed to, and extend the visibility up to Store Operations.

Furthermore, the Operations Planning and DMM Expert will support the Operations Planning Manager in the Warehouse and Transportation Planning activity, aiming to optimize the compromise between demand and capacity by minimizing costs, ensuring the level of service required by the customer is met and sharing relevant information with the main stakeholders.

How you will contribute_
Support the Cutover of DMM for new incoming Brands in Trecate inside the GLOBE project, in terms of roadmap implementation and change management, taking part in the Cut-Over Plan for the activation of all the steps of the project
Support the stabilization of Brands already rolled out, setting in place controls and a routine to ensure consistency to the Brands' needs and simplify system maintenance
Support the setup of DMM WW inside Regions, to allow a constant trace of e2e lead time
Drive continuous lead time updates in synergy with the Control Tower department, contributing to the process of E2E Lead Time monitor and updating DMM according to state of the art / validated lead time
Support the Operations Planning Manger to manage specific urgencies / prioritization and for the launch of new collections / special events
Support in defining the daily warehouse execution plan matching the actual demand of the Brands with the planned capacity and manage arbitrations
Track and supervise the daily execution flow to ensure the Target Daily Plan is met
Support the coordination of the plan and execution flow in the event of operation stops or specific events by interacting with all the functions involved (3PL, Central Operations, Invoicing, Customs, Transport, Regions)
Supervise and prioritize, when necessary, the inbound flow from the Production / Consolidation Centers
Maintain Key Performance Indicators to monitor and to continuously improve the planning process
Conduct analysis and realize reports related to specific logistics / distribution performances
Who you are_
You are graduated in Economics or Engineering studies
You have former experience in logistics or supply chain planning (min 3 years experience)
You have strong analytical skills and a structured approach in managing data
You have a process and continuous improvement mindset with excellent organizational skills
You are able to set priorities, effectively manage you own time while being detailed oriented
You have excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
You are a strong problem solver, proactive, able to take decisions autonomously, and able to work in fast environments
You are interested in Operations and Logistics topics and have a passion to drive the topic within the business
You are fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken
