    We are looking for an Account Manager who can work in a team to build and maintain relationships with customers, define sales plans and long-term account strategies, aligning with the entire DPS organization (sales, marketing, and business units).

    Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Italy, you will be part of a team where solution selling and achieving profitable growth are key success factors.

    Job Responsibilities


    The core of the activity involves supporting existing customers, identifying new opportunities, coordinating sales efforts to achieve profitable sales targets, and developing market penetration/expansion objectives in line with designated customer growth strategic plans, in close collaboration with Danfoss Business Units.

    Specifically, the individual will be responsible for:

  • Supporting existing customers and identifying new opportunities.
  • Developing profitable growth and long-term partnerships with the existing customer portfolio.
  • Following up on ongoing activities and monitoring potential opportunities or compelling events to promote DPS products and solutions to customers.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels of the customer and DPS organization and translating complex functionalities into customer values.
  • Executing by developing timelines, milestones, goals, KPIs, and actions while involving all relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Involving the technical department and production, based on defined sales processes, and leading coordination for the assigned accounts to ensure alignment of strategies and activities across regions/countries.
  • Background & Skills


  • Educational Background in technical engineering field or equivalent.
  • +5 years of experience gained within even moderately structured international contexts, operating in sectors consistent with the hydraulic or electronic world, in similar roles.
  • Proven successful experience in B2B sales.
  • Proven experience in negotiating complex prices and agreements.
  • Strong networking skills and a comprehensive understanding of relevant stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills, good listener with a strong focus on long-term partnerships based on knowledge, trust, and quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English language (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel.
