    About the Role

    We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Business Analytics and Process Excellence team within E.ON Energia S.p.A. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical orientation, an engineering-driven mindset, and passion for the entire data lifecycle and modern cloud architectures.

    The successful candidate will possess solid knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies applied to data science projects, with particular attention to automation, scalability, and reproducibility of solutions.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Manage the full data lifecycle in a modern cloud environment, from engineering robust data pipelines to deploying advanced analytics solutions and creating business-facing data products.
    • Design and implementation of efficient and scalable data pipelines in cloud environments, ETL solutions using modern technologies.
    • Adoption of DevOps methodologies to ensure continuity, versioning, and traceability of analytical projects.
    • Development and deployment of analytical models and ML algorithms on cloud platforms.
    • Experimentation with emerging technologies such as LLMs and generative AI for business use cases.
    • Creation of interactive dashboards and automated reports with modern tools.
    • Development of APIs and services to make analytical insights accessible to other business applications.

    Key Technical Skills

    • Advanced SQL
    • Python with focus on data engineering and ML libraries.
    • Concrete experience with cloud solutions and related services.
    • Familiarity with Databricks architectures (Delta Lake, Spark, MLflow).
    • Proficiency with Git and collaboration workflows.
    • Knowledge of Power BI or equivalent tools for creating effective visualizations.

    Experience and Education

    • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
    • 1-3 years of experience in analytical roles with a strong technical component.
    • Practical experience with at least one end-to-end data science project in a production environment.
    • Relevant certifications in cloud technologies.
